Peace in Practice
Visual Identity
Project Overview
Peace in Practice is an initiative within Utah Valley University's Center for Social Impact that promotes dignity, shared humanity, and compassionate dialogue through everyday action. Through community engagement and meaningful conversation, the initiative encourages individuals to foster connection, understanding, and belonging.
Design Approach
My goal for Peace in Practice was to create an identity that aligned with the Center for Social Impact while establishing a distinct presence for the initiative. Because the initiative is centered on conversation and human connection, I wanted the identity to feel dialogue-driven. The logo is formed by two "P" shapes that function as speech bubbles, representing compassionate dialogue and the exchange of ideas. Their overlap creates a subtle leaf shape, symbolizing harmony, growth, and understanding.
